Toe shoe

The second category protects toe shoes to the highest standards.

The EN 345 standard protective toe shoes must be fitted with a steel nose that resists 200 joules of impact.

The following are the detailed requirements for the protection of toe shoes at different levels of this standard:

SB The basic requirement that all protective toe shoes must meet. Leather, car line wear, tear resistance, shoes lining to absorb sweat, shoe-type affixed feet, all shoe materials must be sweat-absorbent, soles must be non-slip, contact with the liquid when the soles are not degummed, to prevent oil, put hydrocarbons, moderate Bending does not break. SB protection toe shoes do not prevent static electricity, followed by no shock absorption.

S1, like the SB level, is a basic requirement. In addition, S1 protection toe shoes must be anti-static, heel shock absorption standards.

S1P SB+S1 grade requirements, and must be equipped with security to pierce the stainless steel midsole.

S2 SB + S1 requirements, and the upper must be waterproof.

S3 SB + S1 + S2 requirements, and must be equipped with security against stainless steel midsole.

S4 SB+S1+S2 requirements apply to steel head rubber or PVC boots without steel bottom.

S5 SB+S1+S2 requirements apply to steel head rubber or PVC rain boots.

Additional protection

Additional protection refers to additional protection requirements on the basis of basic protection (eg S1 HRO, ie on the basis of S1 requirements, protective toe shoes also have insulated soles...)

A anti-static protective toe shoes (resistance 100KΩ to 1000MΩ)

C Conductive Protection Toe Shoes

HI Heat Insulated Toe Shoes 150°C

CI Cold Protection - 20°C Protecting Toe Shoes

HRO insulated 300°C (1 minute tolerated) protects toe shoes

WR waterproof protection toe shoes

ORO Hydrocarbon Protected Toe Shoes

Note: Waterproof leather protective toe shoes (S2, S3) must keep water for more than 60 minutes; if you need to extend the waterproof time, you need to thicken the upper. Leather protective toe shoes (S1) must remain in water for 30 minutes or longer. Shoes, of course, no boots waterproof performance!

The characteristics of the second type of protective toe shoes are basically the same as those of other protective toe shoes, the only difference being that the impact resistance of the steel head is 100 joules. For other features, see the above rule. Replace the letter "S" (=safety) with "P" (=protection).

Minimum requirements for protection against minimum work hazards (eg handling of small items, industrial cleaning, medical, etc...). The difference between the EN 347 protection toe shoes and the second protection toe shoes includes: without steel heads, the letter “o” (occupational) is abbreviated (different according to requirements can be divided into "01" "02", "03 ").

This kind of protective toe shoes have no steel heads or steel heads made of artificial materials and can be added with antistatic and waterproof requirements. The wearer himself chooses the right kind of protective toe shoes.
